image    What is the strangest job that you've ever had?
Sled dog trainer (sort of). In high school, I worked for a woman who bred Chinooks, a type of sled dog, and helped train the basics with the puppies. Never actually got to race any dogs, though!
If you could switch jobs with anyone in the world, who would it be? Why?
A children's book author/illustrator. I love art, and do 'for fun' illustrated books for my niece and nephew for their birthdays.
How do you spend your summer vacations?
I spend part of my summer vacation working MSAD 75's Extended School Year program for students with special needs, but when that isn't happening, I'm traveling with family.

What does a typical day at MAMS look like for you?

Every day is a little different. I provide support for students in a variety of ways throughout the school day. In general though, I teach small group classes in a variety of subjects throughout the day depending on a student's needs, while also coordinating Ed Tech support for students in mainstream classes. After school, I can be found administrating at IEP meetings.

What do you love about middle school?
Everything, but being able to see the growth and progress that students make in such a short period of time during these three years, in particular, is something I really love.
